I just found out that everyone doesn't know about this fabulous program! Sign your baby or child up for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and they'll receive a free book every month until their 5th birthday. I signed my baby up when he was just a few months old, and we've already received several wonderful books from the program!
One thing to keep in mind: the program is only available in communities who choose to participate. From the FAQ, the books are all paid for by your local community, and it's subsidized by the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
Reading is so important for our little ones. Make sure you spread the word about this and other free book programs to do your part to improve literacy in America!
