Rebuilding Together is a national nonprofit organization that has provided extensive home rehabilitation and modification services to homeowners in-need for over 30 years. Right now, if you go LIKE Pfister on Facebook they’ll donate $1 in product to the nonprofit! {feel free write on their wall and let them know that @babygoodbuys sent you 🙂 }
I was touched by Experimental Mommy’s account of how her home, her livelihood and her city were destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, and how much Rebuilding Together is still helping her community! The organization is continuously working to revitalize and transform neighborhoods by providing free home repairs for those in need. Volunteers do everything, including yard work, painting, flooring installation, plumbing and everything in between!
Bridgette of Experimental Mommy wanted bloggers like me to share one way we help out in our communities in the Friends of Pfister Blog Hop. As a Minnesota mom blogger, my state has incredibly cold weather. It’s unfortunate that many people do not have the resources to keep warm through the winter. Kids wear their little pieces of outerwear for such a short amount of time before they outgrow it. We make sure that our gently used outerwear (and sometimes even brand new items) go to the people who need them the most.
If you’d like to do a simple thing to help, here are two ideas:
- LIKE Pfister’s Facebook Page and $1 in Pfister product will be donated.
- Already a fan of Pfister? Make a monetary donation to Rebuilding Together through the Friends of Pfister campaign on Causes.com! Pfister will even match your donation up to a total of $5,000.
If you’re a blogger, please write your own story of how you help out in your own community. Then link up your post at Friends of Pfister BlogHop and show your support for Rebuilding Together!
