homemade scented playdough
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup cold water
- Yellow food gel/color
- 8-10 drops rose essential oil
Instructions
- Whisk the flour and salt together in a medium bowl
- Add the vegetable oil and cold water. Stir until it forms a dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 4-5 minutes until a soft, elastic dough forms.
- Add the yellow food coloring and rose essential oil and knead for an additional 2-3 minutes until the color is mixed in.
Notes
In Step 2: If the dough is too crumbly add an additional tablespoon of water. If it's too wet add a tablespoon of flour.
Store in Ziplock bags for up to three months.
