About a year ago I was having a conversation with a friend. She was distressed because her three year old daughter had several cavities. On top of the major mommy guilt she had been having about the situation, the dentist had given her detailed – very detailed – instructions on how to keep her daughter’s teeth clean.
On top of the major mommy guilt she had been having about the situation, the dentist had given her detailed – very detailed – instructions on how to keep her daughter’s teeth clean.
Then she asked me, Have you ever flossed a toddler’s teeth before? It’s like flossing a CAT!”
I burst out laughing at the image of attempting to get floss near this kitty’s mouth:
That’s Belle. She’s a mean cat even though she has no reason to have a bad disposition. Even though I’ve spoiled her since the day she came home with me, she’s far more likely to bite me than rub against my legs.
I’m extra-cautious about Belle, which means sticking a toothbrush in her mouth is not going to happen. With her, I need to know the easiest way to keep my cat’s teeth clean.
Then there’s Nova. Nova is sweet on the surface but she really can’t be trusted. She pretends to make friends with people but it only takes a small instance to disrupt her and turn her into a hissing, biting mean kitty!
As with Belle, I’m not going to intentionally provoke her, so I also need the easiest way to keep your cat’s teeth clean when caring for Nova.
Lucky for me, there are ways to help care for my cats’ teeth with a tasty treat.
I just had both Belle and Nova try Meow Mix Brushing Bites with the goal of keeping them happy while reducing plaque and tartar. You’ve probably figured out that these two kitties are not easy to please, but they definitely seemed to love these!
See for yourself how much my cats loved Meow Mix Brushing Bites:
As a cat owner, there’s plenty to love about this crunchy treat that’s possibly the easiest way to keep your cat’s teeth clean!
Depending on the flavor you buy they’re bursting with flavor and made with real chicken or salmon. They’re also fortified with vitamin D and calcium to help support strong teeth and bones.
I just learned that 85% of cats show signs of oral disease by three years of age. While my cats are significantly older than that, it’s never too late to start. My cats clearly have no arguments against starting a delicious dental routine with this tasty take on dental treats!
Meow Mix Brushing Bites can be found at your local Walmart and will also be available on WALMART.COM soon. For now, you can go here to find out more about Meow Mix Brushing Bites.
