My list of birthday cake ideas for girls inspired me to keep my eyes peeled for equally fabulous boy birthday cakes. Since my son’s birthday is just five days after my daughter’s birthday, I’m pretty excited about the possibilities that come with making two beautiful cakes for my kids!

Here are some inspiring birthday cakes for boys. I know my son would go wild for any of these!

    Those are some great cakes! I have the hardest time picking cakes for my son – there are so many good ideas out there! This year we went with a Spongebob cake, but I really wanted to do the monkey one LOL

    I’m going to have to make a Lego cake for my son. I wish I was talented enough to make a Star Wars Lego cake… I’d be the best thing since sliced bread, in his eyes. 🙂

    I think that the LEGO cake would be better if you use cupcakes & shaved them into straight sided cylindars instead of the marshmallows. I guess it would depend on the type of cake. Maybe if you used a chocolate cake it would work, then it might be somewhat of a rocky road cake.
