Since I made most of my baby’s food, I didn’t have a lot of baby food jars to deal with. What we did use, however, I didn’t throw away or recycle , I kept them all in a box in my basement. It seemed like there had to be a great use for them somewhere.

I recently found a few different articles with some wonderfully creative ideas on how to turn baby food jars into lovely little storage items or games. Check out the details here, here and here to get some creative inspiration and reduce your waste at the same time!

Great articles. I have been saving baby food jars for a few months and plan to make soy candles and jars of homemade taco seasoning as Christmas gifts.

I made gel air fresheners for Christmas gifts last year and they were a hit.

I nail the lids to the bottom of the cabinets and use them as a spice rack! You just unscrew the jar from under the cabinet. If one happens to break of get funky, just replace it with another jar!
