Global Resort Homes Review, Luxury Short-Term Rentals Just Minutes from Disney World!

I love vacationing in Florida, and I especially love heading to the Kissimmee area for Disney vacations. I usually go with my parents, siblings and other family members, and we’re all used to making our vacations as cost-effective as possible. That being said, I’ve stayed in some hotels that left a lot to be desired over the years. After all, we save money on the fixed expenses to be able to take more frequent vacations.

I recently headed out for a Brandcation blogging event in Florida. The major sponsor was Global Resort Homes, who provided accommodations for all attendees. I have to say that Global Resort Homes was far and away the nicest place I’ve ever stayed while in Florida. From the moment I walked in the door to the home I stayed in for 4+ days I knew that the accommodations were going to make the vacation! The fully-furnished 5-bedroom house was gleaming with cleanliness and everything was in a place that I expected it to be! There are three things I really, really appreciate when thinking about using Global Resort Homes as a place to stay rather than a traditional hotel:

1. The Global Resort Homes our Brandcation group stayed in were equipped with free washing machines and dryers. That’s a fabulous offering for traveling families. I brought my own laundry detergent in anticipation of using the facilities while I was there. However, I was pleased to see a small box of soap in the laundry room (yes, a laundry room including an iron and ironing board!) in case someone forgot their own detergent. Like almost everything in our Windsor Hills home, the washer and dryer were practically new, super-clean and easy to use.
2. There were 4 bathrooms in our 5 bedroom house. One bathroom was next to the one bedroom on the main floor off the living area. That’s where I stayed so I had my own bathroom to use in a house full of women. I think that’s practically miraculous! The other 3 bathrooms were upstairs for the others to share. That allowed for plenty of room to get ready and plenty of bathroom space for all of us to share.
3. There’s a full-size kitchen in every house, complete with refrigerator, oven/range, microwave, garbage disposal and dishwasher. We had plenty of snacks on hand (thanks in part to Campbell’s and Sam’s Club) and it made it very easy to serve large groups of women and clean up afterwards.  This also ended up saving many of us a lot of money on our Florida vacation. We were able to grab a quick bowl of cereal or some fresh fruit before heading on to our events each morning instead of eating fast food breakfasts.

The Brandcation attendees had a chance to meet face-to-face with several key players from Global Resort Homes. I learned that they provide vacation rental home accommodations in the Disneyworld area for groups from 2 to 15 people. I can’t help but think that multiple families could easily share a big home like the one I stayed in for a fraction of the cost of a resort hotel. Throw in some of the fabulous amenities that Global Resort provides and you have the makings of a great vacation!
