Tips for teaching how to write the letter A
Laminate it. Slide the printed sheet into a page protector and let your child use a dry-erase marker. Wipe and repeat as many times as they need – it makes one print go a long way.
Do an air trace first. Have your child trace a big A in the air with their whole arm before picking up the pencil. It locks in the stroke order before the fine motor work begins.
