A Few Tips
Uppercase N has a diagonal that should go corner to corner. Left line down, diagonal from the top left to the bottom right, then right line up. A shallow diagonal produces something that looks more like an H.
Lowercase n has one hump. Unlike lowercase m which has two, n goes: line down, back up and hump over, then line down. Kids who have just learned m sometimes add a second hump out of habit.
N and u can get confused. They are essentially upside-down versions of each other. If your child is mixing them up, talk about which direction the opening faces – n opens down, u opens up.
