Thanksgiving has taken on different meanings over the years. When I was a kid it meant going to my aunt and uncle's house to eat dinner with family that I saw often.

When I met my husband and moved away from my hometown, it made me appreciate getting to have all those loved ones in one room when I came to visit.

As I've gotten older and our family traditions have evolved, I've come to think of Thanksgiving as a special day that can be anything we want it to be.

And, while we always spend Thanksgiving with plenty of extended family, this year we're making Thanksgiving our own in a much smaller way. My husband and I just love our parents, siblings and cousins too much to risk their health and safety.

So our little Thanksgiving at home is going to be all new to us, and I'm kind of excited for it!

One thing I'm definitely doing for our Thanksgiving meals? I'm making it easy on myself! Hy-Vee and their Thanksgiving offerings were made to do that, and Aisles Online and Holiday Meal Packs are here for all of us!

Aisles Online can be accessed by either the website and an app.

The app allows you to take advantage of store deals by loading digital coupons, seeing what's on sale and racking up Fuel Saver rewards. You can even save 10% on your first Aisles online order with the promo code WELCOME!

You can also order everything on the app, including gift baskets, charcuterie trays, hors devours, fruit platters and everything you need for entertaining!

The website offers delicious recipes and tips, including a Thanksgiving Handbook with all sorts of advice to make this the best holiday ever.

Hy-Vee's Holiday Meal Packs were made to take the stress out of the holiday. Families can choose a Meal Pack for 2, 4, 6 or more people, and you can find quick and easy recipes to make traditional recipes into something unique.

In addition to the traditional Turkey dinner, you might be surprised to see the variety of meals you can order – I know I was!

There's a ham dinner, a fantastic looking chicken alfredo dinner, pot pie meals, prime rib party packs and more!
