The best Cricut Joy bundle

The question you’re all here for is: Is there a Cricut Joy bundle that’s right for you? The answer is YES!

Cricut Joy Bundle Walmart

There are a few different bundles at Walmart, but my opinion is that they’re not for anyone who wants to save money.

The bundles direct from Cricut offer far more value for the money you’re spending. Still, I want you to be able to make a fair comparison, so I’m sharing what’s available now.

Note that, if you shop for your bundle on Walmart.com you’ll see a wide variety. Be careful when you shop, though, because many of the bundles don’t include the actual machine!

Futher, these bundles, even with the machines, are hardly saving you any money! I’ve done the math and compared them against buying all the items individually, and the savings is minimal.

To be honest, with savings of just 2%, these Walmart Cricut Joy bundles seem more like a cash grab or trick to buy more items at once rather than passing along real savings to customers.

My advice? Skip shopping at Walmart and Do either one of these things:

1. Buy a much better bundle at Cricut.com (jump to the table above for info on available products).
2. Simply buy the tools, materials and accessories you want, instead of letting someone else decide.

I don’t want to spend too much time or take up too much space on these items, so I’m including links and pricing information. If you want more details on how I calculated the savings, please contact me.

The Cricut Joy Bundles available at Walmart:

Sampler and Essential Tools Starter Package :: $197.99. The total price for all items in the package is $202.94. That’s a total savings of only 2%.

Beginner DIY Projects :: $193.99. The total price of all items in the package deal is $197.94. That’s less than $4 off, and just a 2% savings.

Permanent Vinyl and Iron-On Samplers :: $189.99. The regular of the items in the bundle is $190.95. With savings of just $0.96, this “bundle” is hardly a deal.

Color Vinyl and Case Package :: $249.99. This one is just not worth it. You’ll be spending $70+ on a off-brand vinyl and a generic case. The whole thing is overpriced and overvalued.

Cricut Joy Bundle Amazon

Just like Walmart, you need to be careful when you’re looking at the bundles on Amazon. A lot of them don’t include the machine itself.

Also like Walmart, these bundles don’t offer the great savings that you’ll find when you shop direct from Cricut.com.

My advice is: skip over shopping at Amazon. At the same time, I want to make sure you get all the details you need to make an informed decision. So take a look below if you want to check out what’s available with your own eyes.

Cricut Joy DIY Decal and T Shirt Designs Maker :: $179.99. This is identical to the Permanent Vinyl and Iron On Samplers bundle from Walmart. It’s also $10 less, which gives you total savings of $10.96. That’s 6% off the regular price.

DIY Card Making Pack :: $177.99. The total regular price for everything included in this package is $181.96. That’s a savings of $3.97, or 2%

Cricut Joy Starter Bundle (click here) :: $172.99. This bundle save you $7.98 off regular retail prices. That’s only 4% off.

Tote Bundle :: $182.75. The regular price of both items in this bundle total $199.98. This bundle is 8% off regular prices.

Vinyl Package :: $209.88 :: The total price of all items in this bundle is worth $223.92. That saves you $14.04, or just 6%.

HSN Cricut Joy bundle

There are three different bundles with the Joy on HSN. I think the first one, the machine with Smart Vinyl and Infusible Ink, is the only one worth buying.

Joy with Smart Vinyl and Infusible Ink :: $158.95 ($153.95 + $5 shipping). This is a unique package that offers an introduction to both card making and Infusible Ink. You can choose from three color themes: Basic, Brights or Pastels.The retail value of all included items is $201.95, meaning you’ll save $43, or 21% off original prices.

Joy and Smart Material Variety Package :: $202.45 ($194.95 + $7.50 shipping). This gives you a sampler of items so you can make a handful of unique projects while seeing how Cricut Smart Materials work. The savings on this one isn’t as great as the above bundle. The retail value of all items is $211.93. Buying this bundle only saves you $16.98, or 8% off regular prices.

The Joy with Cards and Accessories :: $187.45 ($179.95 + $7.50 shipping). This one gives you a nice selection of 36 different inserts plus pens and the mat. With the regular price of all included items totaling $195.94, this HSN Cricut Joy “deal” is the worst deal of the three. You’re only saving $8.49, or 4%, off original prices.

Where else can I shop?

I’m doing my best to cover every legit source that sells the Joy as a package deal. If I’ve missed one, please let me know and I’ll add it!

When I was writing this article, it seemed to me that craft stores and their associated websites would be a great place to shop for this. Unfortunately, I totally struck out when I checked the three biggest players.
