I announced a few weeks ago that my little dog, Jersey, is a Pedigree Ambassador. Jersey weighs in at just over six pounds. Because of her small size, I’m very careful when I introduce any changes to her lifestyle.
I’ve slowly been transitioning Jersey from her old brand of dog food to her new food, Pedigree Small Breed nutrition for dogs. The switch has been taking a few weeks, and she’s finally at a mix of about 75% new Pedigree food and 25% old food. I have to say that she’s taking to the new food quite well! Jersey eats like a bird; just a few bites at a time, several times each day. Her appetite hasn’t changed, and she seems to be eating the same amount as she always has.
Jersey’s digestion also appears to be unchanged. She goes outside and is quite regular, and (thankfully!) she’s the same as ever! Jersey’s coat is also looking nice, and her skin seems to be a bit less flaky. I’m just not sure if I can credit the Pedigree dog food or just the additional moisture in the air since we haven’t been running our furnace as often! Finally, Jersey’s teeth and gums are in good shape with no changes to report.
Jersey is as energetic, loving and playful as ever. So far, the switch to Pedigree dog food is working for her!
